Empty-handed @promiseseeker

#promise32 ““And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed.”

Exodus 3:21 NIV

It can be unnerving leaving what you know and going to an unknown place with unknown plans, an unknown future. But when it's God leading you he's always leading towards greater freedom even if the journey isn't comfortable. What's more, God can cause others to show favour towards you and in this case the Israelites didn't leave empty-handed.

We don't have to travel through life empty-handed either. We have the Holy Spirit equipping us with joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control... We have God's promise to be with us “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

2 Corinthians 9:8 NIV

You are not empty-handed. God has given you everything you need...
